The Benefits Of Exercise With High Intensity
Sports
or exercise is indeed highly recommended for those who are obese and less
motion to lose weight. However, more effort is needed to get other health
benefits.
A
recent study found that obese people who routinely move can help lose weight
and their waist circumference. However, it took a high intensity exercise to
lower blood sugar levels, which in the long run can reduce the risk of type 2
diabetes.
Researchers
from Queen's University in Ontario, Canada, Robert Ross said, their study
participants did in middle aged, less motion and obesity. Researchers did not
direct the participants to run, but only a brisk walk on the treadmill.
Research
results are published in Annalis Of Internal Medicine says that in addition to
benefiting in blood sugar levels, the participants who did high-intensity
exercise also improves their cardiovascular, one important factor in the risk
of death from heart disease or stroke.
For
this study, Ross and his colleagues involve 300 people with ages between 40-50
years. After six months of research, participants do exercise intensity is
being able to lose weight and the size of the waist circumference. But for a
group of high-intensity exercise in, other than the weight down, they also have
blood sugar levels better.
If
done over the years, maybe this way can lower the risk of type 2 diabetes, said
Ross as cited from Medicinenet.
Researchers
say, if the main goal is to lose weight all the ways exercise can work. If you
want to better manage blood sugar, then do a high intensity workout. But,
exercises with high intensity for optimal results. (ctr)
