Lack Of Exercise Is More Lethal Balance Of Obesity
Research
from the United Kingdom said that the lack of exercise or physical activity,
more deadly than obese or overweight. Like WebMD, reported researchers
mentioned that mild exercise such as walking 20 minutes alone is enough to
reduce the risk of early death by up to 30 percent.
''
Efforts to encourage increased physical activity in individuals not active may
have significant health benefits, '' said Ulif Ekelud, senior researcher
Scientist at the Medical Research Council Epidemiology Unit at Cambridge
University.
In
a study published in the American Journal Of Clinical Nutrition this, Ekelud
and his colleagues collected data from 334,000 men and women. During the
12-year period of the study, they measured the height, weight, waist
circumference, and level of physical activity. Ekelud Group found that people
who do sport are having the risk of premature death is lower than someone who
didn't do sports.
The
researchers estimate that the exercises which burn between 90 and 110 calories
per day can reduce the risk of premature death among 16 percent up to 30
percent.
The
research team estimated that 337,000 of 9.2 million death toll across Europe
are associated with obesity. However, doubled the number of deaths can be
linked to the lack of sports activities.
Aerobic
exercise can boost the immune system, improves mental functions, increase
energy, strengthen muscles and bones, and reduce the risk of chronic diseases
such as heart disease, cancer and diabetes.
Researchers
told that exercise or physical activity is very beneficial for the health of
the body as a whole. To this end, regular exercise is highly recommended. (ctr)
