Body Fit And Healthy Brains In Their Twilight

A study in America showed that people who have a great fitness in middle age can ward off a decline in the volume of brain in later days. It is also potentially keeping memory in brain and other functions.

A researcher gerantology at the US National Institute On Aging, Qu Tian in his findings showed that maintaining fitness in middle age can improve brain health on average 20 years later on the adults who did not previously have a cognitive function impairment. Tian and his colleagues examined 146 older adults for more than a decade, using a treadmill test to measure cardiorespiratory fitness. Cardiorespiratory fitness (CRF) is a measure of how well your body is able to transport oxygen to your muscles during exercise, and also for sebarapa good your muscles are able to absorb and use oxygen. In addition, Tian and his colleagues are also using Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) to detect changes in the volume of the brain.

To become a participant, they must be healthy and free of cognitive disorders, dementia, Parkinson's disease or other neurological problems, does not have a history of stroke, heart disease or emphysema, and cancer. As a result, people who are more fit at the age of 50 have a larger brain volume at a later day. The larger part of the brain that is part of the Middle temporal gyrus is believed to be associated with memory, language and visual perception. So too with the perirhinal cortex, which is believed to help the subconscious memory and object recognition. When that section is dwarfed, perhaps it's an early symptom of Alzheimer's disease.

It has been proven that a healthy and fit lifestyle gives rise to effects that are very good for your body. This could be a motivation for you to continue to maintain a pattern of healthy living and keep the spirit in exercise. (pin)
